Services

We offer two worship services: Saturday evening and Sunday morning.  If the Episcopal liturgy is new to you, we invite you to simply take it in, and feel free to ask questions about the service later. Follow along and don’t be afraid that you might not know the right words. During the service worshipers participate in prayers, responses, and singing. All baptized Christians are invited to come forward to receive communion or a blessing. We often have a coffee and conversation following our Sunday 10:00 AM service, (9:00 AM during the summer months of June-August). If you come for a visit and want to know more, we hope you’ll stay for a time after the service, so we have the opportunity to get acquainted!

Children

During the school year, we offer classes in Christian Formation during our Sunday 10:00 service at our parish hall down the street. Children join their families for communion. On the first Sunday of the month, we also offer a special needs service that is geared toward children. All children are welcome to attend the regular service if they prefer. Children are welcome to receive communion provided they have been baptized.

Weddings

You are getting married? Wonderful! Church of Our Saviour welcomes your desire to seek God’s blessing upon your union, and we invite you to discuss this important life step you are taking together as a couple. As part of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, we welcome all couples, regardless of gender, to seek a blessing upon their marriage in the context of Christian community. We do require advance notice so that appropriate preparations may be made with the couple and community. At least one member of the couple should be a baptized Christian. There are other details that Fr. Dave would be happy discuss with you to discuss your preparation for marriage at Church of Our Saviour.

Funerals and Memorial Services

Church of our Saviour is here to help guide you and your family through the loss of a loved one. We offer both funeral and memorial services at either the church or at a site of your choosing. You are also welcome to host your reception here at Church of Our Saviour following a service at our parish hall. Please contact Fr. Dave Miliam for more information.

Baptisms

Holy Baptism is the sacrament by which God adopts us as his children and makes us members of Christ’s Body, the Church, and inheritors of the kingdom of God. Baptism marks the beginning of a life with Christ. Whether you are seeking baptism for yourself or for a child, we welcome you to prepare for this first step into a journey of faith!  We offer baptism at most of our Sunday liturgies at 10:00 AM, and at our Easter Vigil service (Saturday evening before Easter Sunday). We also encourage baptisms on other key holy days of the Church year and will work with you in choosing the date for baptism that works for your family’s schedule.
